Holger Arends
Founder & CEO
Co-founder of Cydalics, Holger has over 25 years of experience in Cyber Security across multiple domains including military, software, infrastructure, telco as well as small business start-ups. Prior to Cydalics, Holger was the innovation lead for Cyber Security data analytics strategy for Telstra LABS. Holger is based in Queensland, Australia.
Daniel Straessle
Co-Founder & COO
Co-founder of Cydalics, Daniel also has over 20 years of experience in Cyber Security Consulting, Operations, IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity Audit roles. Daniel has been a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) for two major Swiss banks as part of a Swisscom service. Daniel is based in Switzerland.
Dennis O'Sullivan
Head of Data Science
Denis brings nearly 20 years of practical applied software engineering and data science experience to the Cydalics team. Denis leads the development of the advanced data analytics and machine learning technology platform underpinning the Cydalics solution. Denis is also based in Queensland, Australia.
Jamie Smith
Director of Business Development and Sales
Jamie has over 40 years’ experience in technology business development, sales and marketing. Jamie has also been the CEO and MD of technology companies including start-ups and is experienced in developing corporate strategy, business growth plans as well as mergers and acquisitions. Jamie lives in Queensland, Australia.
Richard Lloyd
Director of Operations and Risk
A chartered accountant, Richard has a long history in Audit and Cyber Security executive roles, including many years’ experience in protecting Nestle’s global consumer facing digital assets against Cyber-attack. Richard is based in Switzerland.
Mark Ullah
Director of Marketing and Commercialisation
Mark Ullah, an accomplished global growth advisor with over 20 years of experience, is a maestro in propelling business expansion. He is well-versed in strategic growth planning, market expansion, and business development, alongside an adept understanding of digital transformation and performance optimization. Mark has held several leadership roles including CEO, COO and MD and has a documented history of delivering remarkable results utilizing his extensive marketing and commercialization expertise.
Marcus Dahlen
Advisor
Marcus has worked for a number of large technology advisory and service delivery organisations including Accenture, T-Systems International and Swisscom. Marcus acquired practical hands-on experience in Cyber Security, IT Risk and IT Compliance before moving to Swisscom’s Cloud Lab business where he is now CEO of Swisscom Cloud Lab in Palo Alto, California. Marcus advises Cydalics in many strategic areas.
